

MILLER ANDERSON
Miller is the guitarist who’s played with all the top bands since the ‘60s. He came to London in 1965 from
Scotland and played with Freddie Fingers Lee in a band with future Mott the Hoople frontman Ian Hunter
He later joined the Keef Hartley band in 1968 as vocalist & guitarist with whom he recorded 5
albums as the main songwriter, guitarist and lead vocalist. The band appeared at the legendary
1969 Woodstock Festival but due to a managerial oversight failed to be filmed.
He has been a member of Savoy Brown, Chicken Shack, Mountain, T-Rex and Donovan's band.
Miller has toured as a guest musician with Deep Purple appearing on their live CD/DVD
recorded at the Albert Hall in 1999. He has also recorded and appeared live with Jon Lord
from Deep Purple. For the past 15 years Miller has been a member of The Spencer
Davis Group and has just recorded a new album with Chris Farlowe.
The new Miller Anderson CD ‘Chameleon’ was recorded with Kris Gray on bass – ex Edgar
Broughton Band, Brian Knight, Chris Farlowe. Paul Burgess on drums – 10CC, Camel,
Jethro Tull and Chris Farlowe and Frank Tischer from Tischer Men’s Friend on Keyboards
and is released on Rokoko Records through Inakustik. Because of his commitments
with 10CC Paul was replaced last year by Klaus Schenk and this new line up has
recorded a double live CD due for release in September on Rokoko Records
entitled ‘From Lizard Rock’

Brian Knight and Chris Farlowe
Frank Tischer – Keyboards and Backing vocals – Frank has worked with his own band,
Tischer Man’s Friend, Spencer Davis and Chris Farlowe
